I consider myself a focused and hard worker. I have a natural ability to learn new things quickly, solve complex problems and can work well under pressure situations. I value integrity, I’m easy going and have a good sense of humor. I’m a bit of a Jack-of-all-trades and have good self confidence to tackle new challenges.
I've had over 15 years web development and IT experince. I've had 9 years in the Pre-press industry working with Designers and Printers and publications. Some of my responsibilities have included: Network setup and administration; networking both Mac and PCs for production and office administration purposes, intranet dev (including MS Access, MS SQL, php and MySQL); Install, Maintenance and Configuration of Nexus, Artpro and all desktop publishing applications. Calibration and running of imagesetters, platesetters & colour proofers, creating various workflows and writing PPD’s for the Nexus Rip; Press passing, website design and construction. I am very comfortable in a Mac, PC or mixed environment with some Linux experience also.
